Dr. Enoch Kim is a native of Orange County, graduated from Valencia High School in Placentia as the “Tiger of the Year” and was described by the faculty and administration “as the Senior who in the best Valencia tradition exemplified spirit, pride, service, and achievement.” After high school, Dr. Kim then made his way up to UCLA and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in biology, also receiving biology departmental honors and being inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa national honors society. Dr. Kim loved being a Bruin so much that he then stayed to attend the UCLA School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. At the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Kim was chosen by the board of directors of Delta Dental of California as the graduating dental student selected to receive the prestigious Delta Dental Student Leadership Award for his leadership in the dental profession. At UCLA, Dr. Kim was also recognized by the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration for his excellence in dental practice administration.
After dental school, Dr. Kim, was chosen to stay at UCLA as one of 7 dentists to attend the UCLA School of Dentistry’s post-doctoral orthodontic specialty program. At the UCLA orthodontic specialty program, Dr. Kim served as the alumni liaison contributing to the UCLA Orthdontic Alumni Newsletter and helping to organize alumni events.
Dr. Kim is happily married to Dr. Kaitlyn Kim, his college sweetheart and they currently have a 3-year-old daughter and another baby on the way. In fact, Drs. Enoch & Kaitlyn Kim attended the UCLA School of Dentistry together as a married couple, an experience that they will always cherish.
In his freetime, Dr. Kim enjoys being involved with his local church and has served as a music/worship leader for over 10 years. Dr. Kim also enjoys playing the guitar, recording music, being involved with sports, photography and learning about graphic design.
Dr. Elizabeth McNabb, considered a pioneer in the world of dentistry and orthodontics, has been serving the Orange County community as a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics for several years. Dr. McNabb was the only female in her entering class at Loyola Dental School, becoming a member of the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society and receiving many honors. She was also the first woman admitted to the UCLA orthodontic program graduating valedictorian of both schools.
Her primary research interest was in craniofacial growth and development. Her research has been published in several scientific journals.
Dr. McNabb continues to be active in the orthodontic community. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, member of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Joining the clinical faculty at the UCLA orthodontic program in 1999, Dr. McNabb has become one of the most respected clinical professors at UCLA and has played an active role in training the new generation of orthodontists.
Dr. McNabb believes that despite all the advances in technique and equipment, orthodontics is just as much of an art as it is a science. With this philosophy, she has treated many families in Orange County who have come to love their smiles!
In her spare time, Dr. McNabb enjoys reading, gardening, gourmet cooking, travel, art and design.
